Burke Town School Water System Update
Notice Effective September 8, 2025
Our water system recently violated a drinking water requirement. Although this is not an emergency, as our customers, you have a right to know what happened, what you should do, and what we are doing to correct this situation.

Burke Town School is a PreK-8th grade school serving approximately 180 students in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Our mission is to embrace the diverse identity of our small community while promoting unity. You may be eligible for a property tax credit based on your 25/26 property taxes if your property qualifies as a homestead and you meet the eligibility requirements.
Marshall May, Burke Town School graduate and current St. J Academy 9th grader, represented VT at the National Civics Bee in Washington, DC on November 10–11.
On January 26th, the Wildflower will generously donate 10% of all dinner sales to KESD to help provide students with enriching outdoor and indoor winter experiences.
Create a calming routine to help them wind down without screens such as reading a book at bedtime.
