Congratulations to Devon Bedor of Lyndon, Vermont, who has been honored with the 2025 Vermont Writers’ Prize in poetry for his beautiful and heartfelt piece, “Sowing Season.” Hosted by Green Mountain Power and Vermont Magazine, the prestigious contest recognized Devon for his moving reflection on the tension between everyday responsibilities and the longing for peace and beauty in nature.

ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ School District is proud to recognize Kiara Royer, a Lyndon Institute senior and Burke Town School alumna, for being selected as the 2025 recipient of the $750 Tri-State ASBO STEAM Scholarship for Vermont!

Vermont is issuing Summer EBT benefits starting on June 2nd . Most children who are eligible will receive the $120 benefit automatically. Benefits can be used to buy food at grocery stores, farmer’s markets, and online where EBT cards are accepted.
